Dr. Madjid Tavana is Professor and Lindback Distinguished Chair of Business Analytics at La Salle University, where he serves as Chairman of the Business Systems and Analytics Department. He also holds an Honorary Professorship in Business Information Systems at the University of Paderborn in Germany. Dr. Tavana is Distinguished Research Fellow at the Kennedy Space Center, the Johnson Space Center, the Naval Research Laboratory at Stennis Space Center, and the Air Force Research Laboratory. He was recently honored with the prestigious Space Act Award by NASA. He holds an MBA, PMIS, and PhD in Management Information Systems and received his Post-Doctoral Diploma in Strategic Information Systems from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Kazumi Nakamatsu received the Ms. Eng. and Dr. Sci. from Shizuoka University and Kyushu University, Japan, respectively. He is a full Professor at School of Human Science and Environment, University of Hyogo, Japan. His research interests encompass various kinds of logic and their applications to Computer Science, especially paraconsistent annotated logic programs and their applications. He has developed some paraconsistent annotated logic programs called ALPSN(Annotated Logic Program with Strong Negation), VALPSN(Vector ALPSN), EVALPSN(Extended VALPSN) and bf-EVALPSN (before-after EVALPSN) recently, and applied them to various intelligent systems such as a safety verification based railway interlocking control system and process order control. He is an author of over 150 papers and 20 book chapters, and 10 edited books published by prominent publishers. Kazumi Nakamatsu has chaired various international conferences, workshops and invited sessions, and he has been a member of numerous international program committees of workshops and conferences in the area of Computer Science. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Reasoning-based Intelligent Systems(IJRIS) by Inderscience Publisher(UK) and an editorial board member of many international journals. Prof. Zhengtao Yu, Ph.D., is the dean of the Faculty of Information Engineering and Automation, the director of the Provincial Key Lab of Intelligent Information Processing, and the Chief Professor of KUST innovation team of Intelligent Information Processing. He is graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology with Ph.D. on Computer Application Technologies in 2005. He visited Purdue University as a visiting scholar in 2009. Prof. Feng Qiao , received his B.Eng. Degree in electrical engineering and M.S.E. Degree in systems engineering from the Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 1982 and 1987, respectively; and his PhD in intelligent modelling and control from the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK in 2005. During the period between 1987 and 2001, he worked at the Automation Research Institute of Metallurgical Industry, Beijing, China, as a senior engineer in electrical and computer engineering. Since 2001, he has been a Ph.D. in School of Optics and Photonics, Beijing Institute of Technology. He in charge of Yunnan Province key disciplines "Optical Engineering" and leader for Technology innovation team in color and optical imaging technology of Colleges and universities in Yunnan. Presently, Dr K Ramnarayan is the Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University at Jaipur. In 1994, he moved to the International Centre for Health Sciences, Manipal, as Associate Dean, to provide academic leadership for the MBBS Twinning Program with the University of the West Indies. He became the first Dean of the unique Melaka Manipal MBBS twin campus program with Malaysia. He received the Excellence Award for creating intellectual capital in the Melaka Manipal medical program. Dr Ramnarayan is one of the early recipients of the ECFMG Foreign Faculty Fellowship in Basic Sciences, which initiated him into medical education in the US. He was also awarded the Short Term Exchange Fellowship in academic leadership by the Foundation for the Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER), USA. He was one of the founder members of the Department of Medical Education, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. He has conducted over 300 faculty development workshops, nationally and internationally, for health professionals, over the past 25 years. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education from the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Sudarson Jena received Ph.D degree in Computer Science from Sambalpur University, Odisha in the year 2008. Dr. Jena is currently working as Associate Professor, Dept. of Information Technology, GITAM University, Hyderabad, India. He has so far published more than 30 Research Papers in reputed International and National Journals and Conferences. 15 Research scholars have been registered for PhD under his guidance of different universities like GITAM University, JNTU Hyderabad, JNTU Kakinada and Sambalpur University, India. Dr. Jena was Joint-Editor, National Journal, “The Chanakya” during 2005-2007. He is a invited speaker for the National level Conferences/workshops organized by different affiliated colleges under JNTU Hyderabad and Osmania University. He has acted as a Chairperson in different International /National level workshops/conferences.
